Meet Coach Kornblue

I have a big brother named Brandon.

He is quiet, thoughtful, artistic, athletic, a father of three boys and one of the slowest eaters on this planet.

We grew up interested in much different things but enjoyed, respected and loved each other. Except when I stole his toys. Or scratched him that one time when I was angry and then Dad grounded me. Well, I grounded myself before my dad even got home from work because I was so upset at my actions.

Brandon and I grew even closer when he went off to college. Funny how that works.

Needless to say, I’m extremely proud of him for the brother, husband, father and coach he is today.

He’s a guy who followed his dreams and kicked at the University of Michigan then went on to play Arena Football.

And then he created a very successful football kicking company from the ground up… literally! It’s called Kornblue Kicking, a place where kickers, punters and snappers of all levels, from all corners of America, train with Coach Kornblue and his team.

As reporter Derek Kopp NBC 2 and ABC 7 in Southwest Florida explains, kicking is a very specialized position and integral part of the game and there aren’t many guys like Brandon Kornblue leading the way… on and off the field.
